nghiahuu Posted July 1, 2009 Author Posted July 1, 2009 I'm sorry, but I really don't understand the request. I want express deviation by arrow ( direction X, Y) on drawing! Thanks Quote
ReMark Posted July 1, 2009 Posted July 1, 2009 Apparantly the pile was driven in the exact location as laid out by the engineer. Thus it is said to have "deviated". The "as built" plan would indicate the direction and distance of the deviation. Have I got that right? Quote

eldon Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 ASMI wrote a lisp that plots the deviation of piles, so it is in CADTutor somewhere. Happy hunting! Quote
eldon Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 I did a search for Deviation and found this thread Does no one bother to search anymore Quote

Lee Mac Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 I did a search for Deviation and found this thread Does no one bother to search anymore The thread title was almost identical - and even appeared in the similar threads at the bottom of the page - I think this guy wants it handed on a plate. Quote
Freerefill Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 The thread title was almost identical - and even appeared in the similar threads at the bottom of the page - I think this guy wants it handed on a plate. As always, it's easier to ask than to find out. Shame that fewer and fewer people understand that what is "easy" is not always what is "right". Quote
ReMark Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 The problem is not all that uncommon. Using the "Search" feature is not the first thing that comes to mind when one has a problem and comes to a site such as them. Some people, and I work with one such person, are search-challenged. My coworker can search for an hour trying to find something that I can find in less than five minutes. I keep telling him it's all in how the search criteria is written. Quote
