I think you are being a bit unreasonable. How can a programme write the number of the Pile in the order that YOU want? You are the one with intelligence. You will just have to get practised at clicking.

 

Or you could get a coordinate listing of the Piles into a programme like Excel, arrange the Piles in order with numbers, and then plot the numbers on the drawing.

Could the lisp create a table has the text (in sequence) and the position(mainly X&Y and availability of adding Z)
