Lee Mac Posted June 18, 2009 Posted June 18, 2009 Wow... Too Cool... You can make a write up about this one now too!!! They will both be very useful to me... I can't thank you enough... I hope, sometime down the road, I can figure out how to make these programs for people in, what was, my predicament... Thank you, very much, for the help. Thank you for your kind message AQucsaiJr - I get enjoyment from writing the programs, and also learn a lot from making them, so I don't mind if someone else can benefit in the process also. Quote
AQucsaiJr Posted June 18, 2009 Author Posted June 18, 2009 Well I thank you for sharing this talent you have with me and the rest of the members here. Quote
AQucsaiJr Posted June 18, 2009 Author Posted June 18, 2009 I have a suggestion for your NumInc file... The AutoNum files has an option of changing the insertion point before placement... I think it might be useful to have that option on the NumInc as well... I know I will use this feature often in the AutoNum. Quote

Nice idea, but the problem is that the NumInc function also has an option for Curve-Alligned Text - which doesn't work too well with different Justifications. Quote
AQucsaiJr Posted June 18, 2009 Author Posted June 18, 2009 Oh ya... Forgot about that... Oh well... It is still a very good and usable program... Thanks for providing the link... I have already added these two text creation commands to my custom files menu. Quote

AQucsaiJr Posted June 18, 2009 Author Posted June 18, 2009 I may have found a problem... I keep getting this error message with the AutoNum LISP: Command: AutoNum Select Base Point: > Quote
Lee Mac Posted June 18, 2009 Posted June 18, 2009 Ok, in what situation? Does the dialog appear? Quote
AQucsaiJr Posted June 18, 2009 Author Posted June 18, 2009 the dialog box appears... I fill in the information... And when I select a point, that message comes up... I would send you the screen shot of the dialog box filled in but I don't know how. Quote
AQucsaiJr Posted June 18, 2009 Author Posted June 18, 2009 Well I just unoaded the LISP file from the CUI and reloaded it and now it seems to work again... Maybe Auto-CAD messed up... I will keep you informed. Quote
Lee Mac Posted June 18, 2009 Posted June 18, 2009 Ok, I thought I'd covered all bases, but yes, keep me posted  Quote

fuqua Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 hmm just got the chance to try this one out mate, but im getting a error when trying to use the lisp. says "error loading number increment" is there something special i need to do with the other file ? Quote
Lee Mac Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 All seems to work fine for me A few things that could cause your error: Make sure that the DCL is saved in your AutoCAD search path. Do not rename the DCL file, as this will cause an error. I can't really think of much else that could go wrong. Lee Quote
