Hey guys, whenever I try to use the gradient background in 2009 it meshes with my object and makes the object very difficult to view. Anyone have some tips on how to use the gradient background? Thanks in advance for any of your help.

You should make plane under your objects!Plane size is depend on you

what you want to show.:)

yes, basically I want my entire object on top of the gradient

This may be graphic error.First check "3dconfig".

If not ok,open new file with copy & paste!

If will get still problem, you must create plane under your objects(means..surface floor plane or solid floor plane). Then you will need to make gradient material and apply to this floor plane!

so the way you were able to make the above image with the objects on top was by having a solid behind with a gradient material? It just all seems a little more intense then in simple 2002 where I could just add the gradient background and it was done.

Right fri!...but my screen shoot with gradient is only objects with gradient

background. No need to make any plane! So i said check your "3dconfig".

This was not meshed with my acad 2008/9.This may be your graphic setting error.:)
