the command is from a .cui on a server. i have a toolbar icon which i use to initiate it.

Regardless of the command i use afterwards, my OSnaps remain 512.

 

i just found that using this macro '_setvar "osmode" 4263 , works and i've tied it to Shift + RightClick. The ' somehow lets it run transparently (not sure of the term - i'm a month old noob with ACAD :D ) and i can now return my Osnap settings whilst using the messed-up command. 8)

set your osnaps

type setvars

take note what the number is

 

example

 

you want a button setting osnap to insert

 

take note of the setvar then write that number under a button using the commands

 

 

C^Csetvar;osmode;512;^C^C
