Hi Everyone, I'm currently sinking in opened links on finding a vertical wood grain hatch pattern. I finally found a hatch pattern close to what i have, but now it needs to be rotated by abut 27degrees. Could anyone please help with this. Attached is a sample of the Pattern legno4 - Kopie.pat.txt

Hello, I'm having issues with the vertical scaling when I create a profile from an alignment. The horizontal scale is correct but the vertical comes out 1:10. I've adjusted the vertical exaggeration to 1:1 but it doesn't change the drawing even though it saves the changes. I've regenerated the drawing and nothing changes. Does anyone have a solution for this??

Vertical dimension text gets bolder than all other text when scaled down!
ItsChrisRay posted a topic in AutoCAD 2D Drafting, Object Properties & Interface
We've been fighting with this and the conclusion we've come to is that it's an autocad problem and there's nothing we can do about it. We have detail drawings that contain horizontal and vertical dimensions. They're drawn at full scale in model space and saved as individual drawings. We then insert them as blocks onto a sheet in paper space, scaling them down to 1/2", 1/4" scale ETC. Here's the problem - all the vertical dimension text appears bolder than everything else when scaled down. Horizontal text is just fine, diagonal text also looks a little bolder though. It seems that it's just a quirk of autocad that it does that. -
Hello newbie here, So my project is to design a sewer from elevation points we surveyed out in the field. So far I have created a polyline which represents the surface we surveyed. Our instructor gave us a template with a profile grid on the bottom half. I have place this polyline inside the grid but I am having trouble scaling this to the correct vertical and horizontal scales. I have made the polyline into a block. I know I can adjust the X and Y scaling of the block under properties--> geometry but I am confused about how to set these values correctly. I need a vertical scale of 1"=2' and a horizontal scale of 1"=20', I am just confused about what I should enter into the X and Y scale factors to give me the correct scaling. Any help at all is appreciated. Thanks

Does civil 3d 2011 have the capacity to model a pipe network that consists of flexible pipe such as HDPE? I am doing a plan for a force main sewer system that uses 2",3" and 4" HDPE pipe and the only way I have been able to represent it in my profile view is by using straight pipe segments. I want to show a vertical curved pipe as it would be installed in the field. What am I missing here?

Getting mleader text to come in vertical
Michael83 posted a topic in AutoCAD 2D Drafting, Object Properties & Interface
Hi all, I just purchased Autocad 2010 and going through the mleader settings I can't figure out which settings will have the mtext come in at a 90 deg. angle. The option to have the text placed for "reading from right" places the text at maybe a 80 deg. angle w/ ortho on. The horizontal setting does its job. Could I be overlooking a setting? Greatly appreciate your suggestions.
