    section view buffer area

I found my error, thanks. Hello, I'm using C3D 2018, all current updates. I have tried several times, in separate files to make section view buffers work. I cannot seem to get this right. I am adding mleaders and nothing moves when I move the section view. Any help is appreciated. Thanks, Phil
  2. This is probably not the right way to ask this question, but here goes. I am using Microvellum with AutoCad 18 OEM version, so I don't have all the express tools and other goodies. I have a lot of AC tools though and what I am wanting to do is take a 3D drawing of a base cabinet and take away part of the side, so as to see inside the cabinet and still see the entire product in an Iso metric view for our catalog. I am sure this is a simple procedure, I have been all over the forums and have tried all I can think of off the top of my head. I can draw section views and all that with no problem, but those are only in 2D. My boss wants an isometric view with part of the side cut out, so that you see inside and can still see the machining for shelves and see the drawer boxes in there. I know it can be done, just not sure best way to go about it. I will try to post a picture or dwg. of this cabinet as soon as I can. thank you in advance for any insight on this matter.
  3. Hello all, I created points on an Alignment by Importing ASCII File.(Station, Offset, Elevation format).Like this, 0,-10,104.003 0,-6.7,104.015 0,-4,104.026 0,-1.5,104.045 0,0,104.007 0,2,104.041 0,4.7,104.102 0,8.7,104.152 0,9,104.168 10,-5.6,103.629 10,-4.3,103.598 10,-4,103.449 10,-3.5,103.345 10,-1.4,103.426 10,0,103.463 10,1.7,103.448 10,3.2,103.314 10,7.5,103.29 20,-4.6,103.203 20,-3.8,103.15 20,-3.4,103.076 20,-3,103.097 20,-2.45,103.238 20,-1,103.255 20,0,103.259 20,3.6,103.172 20,4,103.265 Then using surface and sample lines cross sections are generated. They I need to add above points (those are at ASCII file) elevations and offsets to the section view as data bands. But I can't figure out how to do it.I can only add elevations at regular intervals. Really appreciate any help. Thanks. Chamara Prasanna AutoCAD Civil 3D 2015 SP 1 Sri Lanka
