Hi all, I'm hoping somebody could help me with this problem I'm having in the early stages of my design. The idea for the project is to create a mirror which can pivot or rotate back and forth via a handle that the operator moves from a distance, either this or possibly a mirror that they can slide from side to side (kind of like a crank-slider) to view what they need in order to work. I instantly thought of a bus door opening and closing and am working to create a handle like that. I'm struggling to see the motion of this though and figure out if it would move properly. We've just purchased a new GPS system and are working out various kinks, one of which being that the default logging and point exporting format creates .dwg files with coordinates recorded as (Northing, Easting). Is there a simple way to translate an entire .dwg consisting of text, points, and lines to (Easting, Northing)? Hopefully I'm not forgetting some very, very obvious solution!

I have a drawing with a parcel. I want one of the lines to be straight across with no angle. On the older version of cadd I was able to align a view port to a line. Is there a way to do this with Civil 3D 2015? If so, how would I go about do this? Or does anyone know of a trick they use to achieve this? Any and all reply's is greatly appreciated! Thanks! Miller
