Hi everyone
Today I have some issues regarding the geometry of this part I want to built as accurate as possible, it's a Propeller Hub ( the part that holds the blades together and allow the pitch movements )
From my basic mechanical understanding, it consists of four cylinders at 90° ( one for each blade ) that sinks into the main cylinder, the one that is bolted onto the engine shaft. There are two sides, back and front barrels, bolted together by 4X3 bolts ( 3 per side )
Do you have any directions, or tips to achieve that, I mean, where to start from ?
Here are some shots of the final result I want to achieve. Note here there are both 3 and 4 bladed Hub versions, used on Vought F4U-1/-4 Corsair's propeller ( Hamilton Standard Hydromatic 23E50/24E60 Hubs )
Many many thanks,
Hueyman
