Color 254 Grayscale Plots as Black in pdf
dal-designs posted a topic in AutoCAD Drawing Management & Output
I have one drawing that refuses to plot color 254 (25% screened gray) as gray - it plots black instead when using ACAD's native plot .dwg to .pdf. This is only occurring in one drawing, which did crash on me a few days ago and required recovering. If I open any other drawings and plot to .pdf, everything looks fine. Any ideas?- 1 reply

how to plot to PDF monochrome without any greyscale (ie: all black)
miclandis posted a topic in AutoCAD Drawing Management & Output
Have to plot 100+ drawings to PDF for review and distribution in meeting. PDF's will be transmitted to and printed by Fedex Office at remote location. When selecting DWG->PDF or Adobe PDF as plotter and selecting monochrome output, the colors in the original drawing are represented as shades of grey as opposed to being all black. When previewed for printing on local laser printer all lines are black and print black. How can I set up the plotting to keep all black lines on PDF output file via a global autocad setting? I also need to eliminate all layer info on the PDF files as it serves no purpose in this case.
