Hi guys, I just started learn civil 3d and I have question related to this. I have created parcels and I want change line label values metre to feet and inches. Is there any options in civil 3d ?. Waiting for valuable replies

I created over 100 parcels in Civil 3D 2013, none under 9000 SF. After saving and closing the file, I opened it the next day to continue and all 100 parcels show 0 SF and 0 acres, yet the parcel segments still show as created. First off, WHY?! And secondly, how do I rectify the problem? Anyone else had this issue? An update: After closing, I recovered the file, which did rectify the issue..... in that session. After continuing parcel creation, saving, and closing, the file opened next session with the same problem. Another recovery resolves the issue again.... for that session.

Hi everyone, Does anyone know how to link the data from parcel tables in Microsoft Access or Excel? I can just copy and paste the table in Excel but I want an automatic update of the data change in Civil 3D Parcel. Also do anyone know how to modify the field for Parcel table??? Many thanks!

Hi guys, I may be late in posting this. I looked around and finally found this forum. I have a project that requires dividing lots with autocad. The question is like this "Your client has asked that you divide the parcel into 3 or 4 lots (he would like 4 lots. You are to use the planning and subdivision regulation as well as the mapping standards for the State." I have the autocad file required for the parcel. I have very little knowledge in autocad and all i can do is draw lines from pt to pt. Can someone help me with this? I have downloaded the State's mapping standards. My big problem is how to use autocad to go about it.Project 1.dwg

Civil 3d 2009: Combining two different boundaries that do not connect. For acreage.

i have one peice of property with an 50' easement going through the middle. I want to combine the two halves to make one property. But i want to omit the 50' easement. I also vaguely remember learning about some sort of text that is annotative and is only visible in certain views. I have an overall view that is 1"=1000' and the other views are 1"=100'. Its very similar to having two sets of text on different layers and different sizes (and just freezing out one or the other in the viewport.) but it is all done with a certain kind of text. Any thoughts?
