    When starting AutCAD I get "First run initializing" on the splash screen. This happens after security updates. My computer hangs with the splash screen up for a few hours, then magically AutoCAD starts. It affects 2013 and 2015.

    Not Responding

    I am using Acad2010 and my directory tree is extensive. I have installed acad into c drive but my files are in another directory of larger capacity. When I click "open" a file the computer hangs for quite some time before opening up in an old drawing directory that is not where I have told it to open in the "options" menu. Windows Task Manager tells me that it is not responding. Does anybody have any clues?
