  1. I have dwf files that I would like to manipulate in AutoCAD? Can this be done in AutoCAD or do I need another software to accomplish this?
  2. Hi All, I need to integrate dwf files in my web page, please suggest me the Autodesk software(it can be paid software also). There is one more requirement it should fulfill, suppose i want to search for a room in building which has some number or name , i want it be searched in the drawing directly using a query string from the aspx page. Please suggest me if it is possible , if it is please guide me on this. Thanks Ritchie
  3. Hi All, I have a functioning Spooling lisp routine that allows me to process a series of drawings from a list in a text file. At the moment I can run routines, print and generate single sheet DWF files. My company now has the requirement to generate Multi-Sheet DWF files that include the Model and all Layouts. I am creating the DSD files for each drawing that opens with the spool process and then run -PUBLISH command using the created DSD file. When I step the script through one line at a time it all works perfectly, but when I run the spool un-interupted, AutoCAD crashes with a Fatal Error: Unhandled Access Violation Writing 0x009b Exception at 9bh I am starting to think that it is not possible to create a Multi-Sheet DWF using Scripts, but I would really love to get this working. Any and All input greatly appreciated. Colin Holloway
  4. My department often prints full sets from dwf. When we make our dwfs, the sheet title font looks correct in each and every file. When we print them to our Oce PlotWave 300, the Oce randomly picks and chooses which sheet it will recognize the font, and which it wont, but is consistant in the various number of copies of said sets. Like if it doesnt recognize the font in sheets "C-3, C-3.1, C-6, C-8.1, C-11" in a 30 sheet set and recognizes the font in the rest of the set, and I need 10 sets, those same sheets all print out the same way in all sets. I don't understand what the issue could be other then a driver issue or something with the Oce, as the font appears in dwf's, pdf's, plt's, or even directly from CAD. Also I do not have this issue printing to a smaller printer in our office that prints 11x17 max. Any direction or troubleshooting assisstance would be awesome! Thanks!
  5. I have a strange problem with print/print preview. I create a 3d model in Autocad2012 for a mechanical assembly, then from the model I produce the 2d views I need. In addition to the 2d drawings I also create an Isometric DWF print. I then put all the 2d views together in 2d drawings, add the dwf as an underlay and then create a drawing layout in paper space. For ease I divide my layout into 3 view ports (three: left combination). The left viewport contains the 2d views, the right top port contains the DWF under lay (in colour - shaded) and the bottom view port contains text etc. the view port borders are set to a hidden layer so that they do not appear in the print. This has always worked fine but recently I have the problem that the Underlay, although visible in the layout, is not visible in the print preview. When I print the drawing it does however appears on the print. If I move the Underlay to the text view port it appears in the print preview. All properties for the 3 view ports are identical. So what has gone wrong? I must have changed a setting somewhere but just can’t seem to find the problem.
