AutoCAD 2007 crashes when I try to convert to PDF
Danarchi posted a topic in AutoCAD Bugs, Error Messages & Quirks
Hello! I am new here and here's my first question: After not using AutoCAD for 4-5 months, I don't know what happened, but now when I tried to convert my DWG to PDF (that I've done successfully a million times in the past) it crashes and the program shuts down. I 've tried doing it both ways: plot... and Convert to PDF (directly from the toolbar). Every time it crashes right when I am supposed to give a name to the file and select "where to save it". What's happening?! I hope I explained the problem well and you know what I'm talking about. Thank you! AutoCAD 2007, OS Windows 7. -

I need to add 1/8" gaskets to flanged piping. My primary reason for doing this is so I can get the correct length for the pipe. I was planning on simply pulling the flanges back and 1/8" but when I do that it stretches the pipe. Is there a way to detatch pipe from fitting or fittings from fittings so I can move them independently. Or could I just add 1/8" gaskets in there somehow. I'm of course working in 3d. autocad 2007. I can always create fab-drawings by just doing the math with the current drawings but I want to try to get it in the model, just in case. I'd apreaciate the help. I'm probably working the weekend on this so don't be afraid to post soon.

Same Viewport - Multiple Drawings
tigerlilygirl posted a topic in AutoCAD Drawing Management & Output
I have 5 drawings that all have the same model (basically a topo map of a 2 mile radius) but each have unique info, i.e. monitoring well locations, utility info, etc. The client wants a zoomed in view of a 1 block radius and I need all 5 drawings to have an identical zoom. How do I adjust my viewports in each drawing so they are zoomed in to the exact same place? I'm using AutoCAD 2007 for this. -
When I go into AutoCAD and start working, a crosshair shows up like normal but there is also the windows cursor. It follows the crosshair wherever I drag it. Does anyone know why this is? I am logged onto my work computer remotely and I am on my laptop with a wireless mouse connected. Thanks!
