alanjt Posted April 17, 2010 Posted April 17, 2010 You could easily accomplish this by making an attributed block with fields that references a node which you have placed on the PLine. You could even use the Measure command to array the block along the PLine. Quote
alanjt Posted April 17, 2010 Posted April 17, 2010 This is a quick and rough example, but this should give you something to modify... new block.dwg Quote

samcoozy Posted April 18, 2010 Author Posted April 18, 2010 I didn't know how make required attributed block (how to set a field that references a node which you have placed on the PLine). Which field I set for node and how to set in AutoCAD 2008 what is the processor for this. Regards, —Sam Quote
alanjt Posted April 18, 2010 Posted April 18, 2010 I accidentally set the rotation to Middle Center (wasn't going to start the recording over), but you get the idea. Quote

samcoozy Posted May 3, 2010 Author Posted May 3, 2010 today, I have one more question.. how can make boundary around the text which resize as text size (Height & Width) automatically. and if I want place that block different distance like straight is another & curve another then how to do this. Example: I have an alignment, contains sum curves. I want to place this(coordinate block mention in previous threads) object, if straight than 10meter and if curve than 2meter. how can I do ? Can it's possible. Regards —Sam Quote
alanjt Posted May 3, 2010 Posted May 3, 2010 You would have to use a Dynamic block with stretch or attributes with textfit option. Quote
samcoozy Posted May 4, 2010 Author Posted May 4, 2010 I am using AutoCAD 2008. In block editor I use BLOCK ACTION command. but there is no any parameter as u tell above. please explain ur example in detail. Regards, —Sam Quote
samcoozy Posted May 5, 2010 Author Posted May 5, 2010 Thanks for this coordination but in this tip we resize our text. means, if text Value is short (b'cos I ignore trailing Zero from coordinate) than the block showing more wide text and if value is long than block text wideness is reduced. but I need fixed height & Width TEXT. in Dimension Style there is a Check Box Option, say "Draw Frame Around Text" ( under TEXT APPEARANCE IN TEXT TAB) how this function works if possible can u have any idea for lisp code for Attributed block Dialog Box with merging "Draw Frame Around Text" Option. Thanks & Regards —Sam Quote
