Greetings:

I enjoy using many of the lisp routines that are shared on CADTutor...thanks to all.

I think I need to learn how to create lisp routines myself for some very company specific applications. What advice or resources can you suggest for someone who knows nothing about writing code.

Thanks

There are loads of sites out there,

Google a few of these keywords:

AfraLISP

JefferySanders LISP

Ron Leigh LISP

And of course, there are the invaluable help files in the Visual LISP Editor provided with ACAD. (access by typing VLIDE at the command line).

VLIDE, huh. Another hidden gem in Autocad. Thanks for the quick responses and good information folks! Now if I can just find a place to hide in the office to learn lisp! :shifty:

Yeah, the VLIDE is a great tool for creating LISPs, this is really handy for help on it.

If you don't get on with the VLIDE, you could also try Notepad++ or even Vim.
