JoeC Posted July 29, 2009 Posted July 29, 2009 Greetings: I enjoy using many of the lisp routines that are shared on CADTutor...thanks to all. I think I need to learn how to create lisp routines myself for some very company specific applications. What advice or resources can you suggest for someone who knows nothing about writing code. Thanks Quote

Now if I can just find a place to hide in the office to learn lisp! Yeah, the VLIDE is a great tool for creating LISPs, this is really handy for help on it. If you don't get on with the VLIDE, you could also try Notepad++ or even Vim. Lee Quote
Lee Mac Posted July 29, 2009 Posted July 29, 2009 is VLIDE just the same as VLISP then ? I believe so, yes. VBA alternative is VBAIDE. Quote
Se7en Posted July 29, 2009 Posted July 29, 2009 VLIDE stands for: Visual Lisp Integrated Development Environment. VBAIDE stamds for Visual Basic for Applications Integrated Development Environment. And i think you should start with: http://mitpress.mit.edu/sicp/full-text/book/book.html Quote
