jimmib Posted September 19, 2008 Posted September 19, 2008 In my work I have quite a few holes that I fill in with a solid hatch. I "sometimes" have a problem when I use the copy selection command. The hatch distorts. I mean it looks like you blew a baloon up. I can delete the distortion and redo the hatch and all seems fine. Any ideas? Has anyone had this problem? I hope that I am clear on what happens. Thanks for any help. Quote
nocturne00 Posted September 20, 2008 Posted September 20, 2008 Try to check your HPORIGINMODE variable, set it to 1. or just edit the hatch, under Hatch Origin>Specified Origin> choose any from the default to boundary extents Quote
jimmib Posted September 20, 2008 Author Posted September 20, 2008 I changed the settings as you suggested. HPORIGINMODE was set at 0. I will see how this works in time, as the distortion does'nt happen all the time. Thanks for your help, Jim Quote
nocturne00 Posted September 20, 2008 Posted September 20, 2008 no prob, this sometimes happens when the hatch is too far from the UCS Origin. affects most hatch patterns especially the gravel or concrete pattern Quote
