set a text object to value its properties

Hi

I have a true geographic drawing with object Z axis.

Usually I:

1. execute “ID” command,
   
2. select a point
   
3. see the Z value
   
4. set it as a text value
   

I want to automate it,

using “Field” I can only predefine the position of another object Z value.

I need the same behavior but with the position of the “field” text object. in other words, i need the field to mesure itself.

Is there a way to do it without lisping it?

sorry I was offline for a bit, holidays etc..

I made a block, added a block attribute, closed the block.

then turned the attribute into a field.

I don't know if is possible any other way.
