Take a look at this from LeeMac, converts blocks to images for previewing in plain DCL. (NO Slides required)

Wide plines & text do not show up properly, but great tool.

 

As Lee's post shows, you can show existing blocks.

 

In my case I am using it as a block preview, then updating as user selects new options in DCL (need to entmake block prior to each preview, but works like a charm and very quick)

 

The block does not need to be inserted into the drawing but it needs to be created prior to running.

Is there any chance that I could have the code which is mentioned here? I need to display a block in my DCL dialog box.
