  1. Following a suggestion in another thread, I thought to work out and calculate some hatches which simulated perforated plates with a certain percentage open. I calculated on a unit sided hexagon for the pattern repeat, and the holes are 12 sided polygons (dodecagon) to suit, and made a spreadsheet, so that any percentage open can be easily calculated. The process is not automatic so I will not be posting the spreadsheet, but am posting three pattern files. PerfP60.pat PerfP20.pat PerfP40.pat

  2. Are you saving locally or to a network or both? This could be on your companies end, you may need let IT sort it out, I once had issues when they switched firewall software. Maybe they need to check all of the support file paths. I have also had similar issues in the past and using a different graphics card driver (not necessarily the latest) worked.

  4. Agree "So I'd be assuming recreate each paper copy as a single CAD file", you can always make into 1. Set up stuff like a title block then can copy and paste into each dwg with all the common details filled in. I would scan the dwg we had a A0 scanner, then bring in as a underlay image, maybe play with colors of image if possible, I would use colors like red green magenta as drafting over so make it easy to see what your drawing over. A secret this image was a flat plan and drafted over to demonstrate some 3d software. Make sure ortho is on. For us oldy's use a GTCO 48" digitiser.

  6. I'd typically opt for something like - (nth <param> (mapcar 'cdr (vl-remove-if-not '(lambda ( x ) (= 42 (car x))) <dxf-data>)))
