  1. Glad you found a solution you like. Only here trying to help people. --EDIT-- To clear up your confusion @AlanCapuano I know my answer wasn't what you were asking for. But if you standardize your contractors PC's. You wouldn't have to export a list of whats lisp are loaded. you can just hard code the known location into your lisp. You even state they don't have admin rights but it will automatically add the folder they select into trusted/support. what if its in the downloads folder? From now on anything they download or haven forbid a virus downloads is now in a trusted folder location. the whole reason you have to add a folder to trusted/support is so malicious or more likely unwanted lisp's aren't loaded. this is just one issue that can be minimized by standardizing the computers. again I was only trying to help.

  2. Whereas the method by "least squares" will give the rigorous mathematical result, I prefer the method by "least effort". Having drawn the polyline, I would then go to PEDIT and curve fit by the FIT option. This makes the curve go through all the base points.

  6. Bless you for trying to render in AutoCAD. You could always use SimLab Composer Lite (free) to render your DWG files. Just make sure that you give each material it's own layer in the DWG files to make assigning materials easier.

  7. a trick to find the print limits of a tab is to create a view port and set it to fit. this will draw a viewport to the maximum size possible then just use that to draw up a polyline.
