  1. Mea culpa @ronjonp I created a new group for members with more than 100 posts but less than 1000 so I could reward loyalty - naturally, I didn't have forum permissions correctly set for that group and the upshot was that after you were promoted, you were actually penilised! Sorry, I'm still getting used the the new ACP

  2. Type CUI, then in the Customize User Interface Double click action > Block > Block - double click. Click on the button with the 3 dots pointed by the yellow arrow. The original macro should be something like that: $M=$(if,$(and,$(>,$(getvar,blockeditlock),0)),^C^C_properties,^C^C_bedit) You can change it to $M=$(if,$(and,$(>,$(getvar,blockeditlock),0)),^C^C_properties,^C^C_refedit) That being said, the "if" portion makes it so that if the variable blockeditlock is set at 1, you won't be able to edit the block at all with the blockeditor (even if you launch it manually) and will return that mesage: ** BEDIT command not allowed. Block Editor is disabled. **. While you still can launch the reference editor using the refedit command, simply changing bedit for refedit in the macro as shown in the preceding paragraph won't change much since it seems that your blockeditlock variable is set at 1 since it opens properties. The thing is that since the default value is 0, it looks as if someone or something changed it in the first place. You could put it back to 0, but in the event that it is automatically set via acaddoc, or startup, it will revert back every time you will launch Autocad again. I would give it a try. If that is the case, you might change the whole expression to just keep the (without the quotes) "^C^C_refedit" . Just make sure you don't get in trouble with your boss! If that solves your issue, please rate this post accordingly! Cheers.

  3. If you want to show what is on your screen, a lossless format such as PNG would better suit the purpose. I can see the logic of tags, like adding [ q u o te ] [b o l d] (etc). While you see a bold "hello" in reality it is the word hello surrounded by bold tags. When you copy it if you include the tags in your selection they will be copied as well. What I really don't get is why some get added at random positions like after the 3rd letter of the word "populate", between the name of a variable and its value, or why each time I copy it adds one more. Theoretically if you copy the same source over and over, the result should be constant when you paste. Apparently it seems specific to Chrome. -> Source link! <- but seems weird that you don't get the same behavior on Chrome, because AFAIK VLIDE has never been changed/updated since its original release. Maybe something changed it the clipboard in different windows version. I'm on windows 7. Which OS are you using?

  4. AutoCAD has the ability to import Bing images into your CAD drawings, or are you simply wanting the raw imagery itself? If the latter, perhaps this might help?

  6. It seems to be fixed now for me at least, I'm able to post to the forum and send private messages again. Thanks for the quick fix!

  7. I guess myself and Dana W wasted time directing you to the appropriate editor for fixing these.

  8. You could set SNAPANG and ORTHOMODE for a toggle. I too do not see why Polar tracking is so difficult.
