  1. I like a dark version as well. I have an add-on called "Dark Reader" in my browser and using it's default settings I get this.....

  3. I find the best way to use Invision forums, if you visit regularly, is to click on the 'Unread Content' button. (Top right next to the 'Mark site read' button - these 2 buttons are also repeated bottom right of each page). That will then give an 'Activity Stream' of all new posts made since you last logged in. You will also see a 'filters' bar where you can further refine what is shown. You'll find filters in many different sections of the forum and you can set/save multiple types of filters for different places. Like everything else new it all takes a bit of getting used to and working out what's best for your way of working.

  4. @CAD64 - for Firefox, there is a similar add-on called STYLISH I'm not sure if it includes a GUI for selecting and modifying a style, but this CSS code does the trick. You might have to adjust the color to your liking. div.ipsColumn.ipsColumn_fluid { background-color: #a3a3a3; }

  5. @Cad64 - In Chrome, I use an add-on called StyleBot. It allows you to modify the style of any element on any page or site, or browser-wide. It might help until the site styles are added in here.

  7. Nice idea! Yes, that can be done by creating a new theme. I've added it to my "to-do" list.

  8. I realise it's a big shock to the system, particularly since we've been with the old board for such a long time. The truth is that there was no choice but to make a change - the old software is now considered "legacy" and is not supported on modern hosting servers. Yes, we could have upgraded to the latest version of vBulletin but, in truth, even the latest version is looking a bit dated by now. Plus, Invision Community provides many new opportunities for our community that I haven't talked about yet. So this wasn't a frivolous choice - I've been researching and planning for a couple of years. All I can say is, give it a chance. Hopefully you'll feel a little better about the change after you've had a little while to get used to it.
