A command to draw a line from near to perp

I am trying to write a command from nearest to perpendicular. I have:

^C^C Line;NEA;\ per;\

but it doesn't work.

I know this is a simple command because I wrote it before but don't remenber how I did it.

By observing what happens on the command line when you run it should give you some clues...

make sure no spaces around the backslashes, you may have one before the "per"
