guyarch10009 Posted November 19, 2009 Posted November 19, 2009 Help, I do all my drawing in model space but when I move to layout mode and create viewports some items (blocks and windows) are not lined up with my walls, as they are in the main model space. There is a diconnect between the model spaces. Do I have a setting wrong? (autocad arch 2009) Quote
Glen Smith Posted November 19, 2009 Posted November 19, 2009 Are all views (in model space and paper space) using the same view? ie TOP or FRONT? If you have orbited your drawing and the view is not from the same angle I could see things not lining up. Other than that, I got nothin'. Glen Quote
guyarch10009 Posted November 19, 2009 Author Posted November 19, 2009 All the drawings are in 2D plan and elevations. Some lines that I draw in model space will be offset when I view it in layout model view. So when I go to print a layout some lines are offset even though they are correct in the main model space. I though there was only one model space. Maybe my autocad has a bug. Quote
