Disable the rededit switch on the ribbon

Yes another ribbon issue

Ive decided to switch to the ribbon,but in the dashboard format, and replaced the pallet key (ctrl + 3) for it,

However the only draw back im finding and i hoping there a varible for it.

When i refedit a block it gives me a varyed results, Some times it will go to open my dashboard when hidden, but get half way and put the toolbar up, and leaves an out line of the dashboard, while other times it will do it with out the refedit tool bar coming, Some times it does nothing, but goes into refedit mode, but the most annoying one which i would like to fix is, When you have the dashboard open and use refedit, it switchs to the refedit tab, witch has only 4 button on it, is there any way to disable this reator/promp accuring.
