Well that's interesting. I guess you'll need to use Windows built in Calculator instead.

Perhaps a dumb question, but how are you entering the figures in the expressions? Is it by entry from your keyboard, or are you copying and pasting from somewhere?

It looks llike a rounding error somehow.

Yea, and it is in CAD. I've known about this for a while

I'm entry formula using keyboard. It's just in AutoCAD dan Amech 2010. If i use ACAD & Amech 2009 that's no problem.

Maybe you have one of the old Pentiums that had math problems (aPproxENTIUM). :D

AutoCAD Mech 2010 here.

LoL or the 486 sx, since you had to get a dx to have the proper math processor.

This is a bug in AutoCAD 2010. It's been fix in update 1.

Snipped from update 1 readme file:

The following defects have been fixed:

QUICKCALC

Calculations performed by the QUICKCALC command may be incorrect.

Try to download it and see if it's still happen. You can download it here.

I'm not saying this won't solve an issue, but QuickCalc and CAL are two different things.

I know. Maybe they use the same calculation engine or something. Because I tried in my AutoCAD 2010, QuickCALC returns the same incorrect values.

Don't have problem with autoCAD 2008. Maybe you should download the updated file from edwin.

Just a quick update: I've tried to install the update1, and this issue is fixed on my machine.
