Going from 2008 to 2010 should i just install the new one or should i unistall 2008 first?

Install the new one and migrate any settings, etc. from the old one. Then delete the old one.

Yeah it does.

 

Are you on a network dealing with other CAD designers? Or are you just a lone draftsman? If you are networked, AutoCAD 2010 has some known issues with backwards compatibility especially with a vertical product.

Thank you DrMeltdown, I wouldnt have thought of types until I got to the store and they asked me. One last question. Any namebrands I should stay away from, or are recommended?
