lenmac Posted November 6, 2009 Posted November 6, 2009 I have inserted a spreadsheet into my drawing. When I try to plot to my 11x17 laser printer, the Preview looks great, but the printed copy blacks out the spreadsheet portion. The only way I can get anything to print is to set the OLE Plot Quality to Photograph, and then the text is blurry and nearly illegible. What am I doing wrong? Quote
ReMark Posted November 6, 2009 Posted November 6, 2009 What command did you use to insert the spreadsheet? Quote
lenmac Posted November 7, 2009 Author Posted November 7, 2009 I Copied the spreadsheet selection to the Clipboard in Microsoft Excel, then in AutoCad selected Edit and Paste. I have tried every Plot Quality option and the only one that produces any image is Photograph, and even then it is distorted. All other Plot Quality options produce a blacked-out image. Quote
ReMark Posted November 7, 2009 Posted November 7, 2009 There are a couple of options mentioned in this thread found at the AutoDesk Discussion Groups (paste special and dotSoft Tool Pac). Take a look. http://discussion.autodesk.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=22021 Quote
Tankman Posted November 7, 2009 Posted November 7, 2009 Appears dotSoft Tool Pac would work fine however excluding LT. I could be wrong but, I'll take a closer look later. Quote
lenmac Posted November 9, 2009 Author Posted November 9, 2009 Remark: Thanks! in your link, I found the answer I was looking for. Paste Special and choose Autocad Entity - worked great. Len Quote
